Privacy Policy
How DigitalTV Stalker Player handles your information.

Short version: the app has no accounts, no analytics and no third-party SDKs. It sends one derived device identifier to the portal address you enter, so your IPTV provider can recognise your subscription. We do not receive that traffic and we do not know what you watch.
1. What the app sends, and to whom
DigitalTV Stalker Player talks to exactly one server: the portal address you type in yourself, run by your IPTV provider. The app connects to no service of ours and to no other third party.
To that portal it sends:
- A derived device identifier in MAC address format. The app computes it by hashing (SHA-256) the device identifier your television already exposes to its own apps, and it stays the same across reinstalls. Your television's real hardware MAC address is not read and not sent.
- Standard request information — your IP address, the app version and basic device details, as any network request carries.
- Your requests — which channel, programme or title you asked to play, because the portal has to return the stream.
Your IPTV provider is an independent controller of that data, under their own privacy policy. Please read theirs as well — what they log about your viewing is between you and them.
2. What stays on your device
Your portal address, the device identifier, your interface language and your playback preferences are stored locally on the television. Favourites and the parental PIN live on your provider's portal, not on the television, which is why they follow your subscription from one device to another. Clearing the app's cache or uninstalling removes the local data.
3. What we collect
Nothing automatically. We operate no servers that the app contacts, we run no accounts, and we receive no usage data. If you email our support address we will have whatever you put in that message — your address and description — and we keep it only as long as it takes to answer you.
4. No tracking, no advertising, no third-party code
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing is sold, rented or shared, because nothing is collected.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from them. Adult categories on the portal stay behind the parental PIN your provider sets.
6. Security
Requests are sent to the portal over the protocol your provider's address specifies. Many Stalker and Ministra portals are published over plain HTTP; when that is the case the connection is not encrypted, which is a property of your provider's service rather than of the app. If that matters to you, ask your provider for an HTTPS portal address.
7. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to produce, correct or erase. For data your IPTV provider holds — your subscription, your device registration, your viewing — please contact them directly. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
